If Samsung has replaced it for, they water seal it back. Yes I did it myself. Sorry for not clarifying. I was looking at a video on battery replacement and it doesn't look like Gear S3 has any seals. In either case, the watch is water-resistant (just about) so I would keep it away from rain; drizzles should be okay. I replaced the battery on my Gear S3 Frontier. I followed the YT video and had zero issues. When I place the watch on the charger, the watch lights up and displays the percentage of charge. It did charge so the battery must be working okay, it is at 100%. If I press the top "back" button while on the charger it lights up indicating 100%.
