Any fans plugged into ports after an open port on the Lighting Node Core would be unable to communicate with the controller if a port on the Lighting Node Core is skipped. Connect the 9-pin USB cable to an internal USB 2.0 header on your PC motherboard that is open. SATA power should be connected to your Lighting Node Core. Okay, I got it working. So couple of things. The h150i pro would never work with the commander pro, but it worked just fine when I directly connected it to the mobo. Secondly, I'm not sure if I originally did it wrong or not, but I had the fans connected to the corsair link and then the commander pro which I could never get working. In the case of sp120, the names of rgb, pro, and elite are all different, but the one with pwm is only for elite. By the way, the symptom you wrote is typically a case of a dc fan. The pwm port of commander core xt does not support dc fan. So, check the Corsair site and double-check that the information you have provided is correct. BornToLose129.
MOBO: Asus ROG STRIX X570 I-Gaming. Controllers: Commander Core & Commander PRO. Fans: x3 HD120 RGB, x3 ML120 RGB, x2 HD140 RGB. My mobo only has x1 USB 2.0 header, so I initially plugged in my Commander PRO into the mobo, then plugged in the Commander Core from the H150i into the USB hub on the PRO.
Hello, I have 3 Commander Pros, each with 5 Corsair ML RGB fans. One of the Commander Pros will occasionally disappear from iCue as if iCue has lost the ability to communicate with it. It seems to happen randomly where this one Commander Pro disconnects and reverts to the hardware lighting settings. When this "disconnect" occurs and I go into
Commander Core not showing up in iCue - CORSAIR iCUE - Corsair Community. Page 1 of 2. I recently did a huge upgrade to my PC and with that, I required some new cooling equipment. Got myself the H100i Elite Capellix which came with a Commander Core, got everything up and running - but I cannot control the speeds or change the RGB on the fans. If it starts to happen again, USB connection status determines whether CUE can see/communicate with the device. The Commander Pro as a whole device will be missing from CUE. However, the RGB Lighting Hubs that provide additional 5v power for fans on Pro controllers do not show up as devices. If the RGB channel is configured "Fan type x fan Since the QLs are connected to a Lighting Node Core, you are looking for that device at the top of the CUE window. If it does not show, you most likely have a USB recognition problem. 1) Check the USB 2 plug on the Commander passthrough. The receptacle is large and it is very easy to misalign the USB plug on the pins.

I either have bad cables on both my H115I AIO and my PSU or a bad commander pro or bad H115i and or bad PSU. I have two commander pros installed into my system one with the USB ports used and the other one without the ports. See my troubleshooting steps listed; Step one; I updated the firmware in both Commander pro units.

It should work. You could do a full power down of the system and try to boot it back up. First time I booted my CoPro with a H100i plugged in, it wasn't detected. Try swapping headers between the capellix and the commander pro. Note that it is easy to plug devices offset by one pin on the commander pro USB header.

So if that's not connected that could be an issue. Also, make sure that the USB port is enabled or try another port. Sharing some more system info would be helpful too. Is it possible for corsair to send me a new one I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and it still won't work properly.

Finishing up a watercooled build using an iCUE Commander Core XT for fan control since I'm using Corsair fans. I'm using two temp sensors, one for ambient and one for water temp. Problem I'm having is the temp probe from the distro plate isn't being recognized by the Core XT. I previously tried a regular Commander Pro with the same results.

I figured the problem is how they programmed the lighting node pro, lighting node core and commander pro but they refuse to send updates and fix the hardware lighting issue on these devices. However, it's fixed on their new RGB controllers like commander core and commander core xt

So I ordered a Corsair Commander Pro and it arrived today. I have 6 ML120 Pro fans, 3 120mm 3 140mm hooked up to it for now with the intentions of changing out to LL series fans in the near future. Problem im having is that iCUE isnt recognizing the fans properly. It seems to (usually, they sometimes drop out) read Fan 1 & 2, albeit with very 6nxR.
