Average usage seems to be 3 hours screen on, 35% battery consumption a day. iPad Air 4 about 18 months old - 394 cycles @ 94% (using Apple analytics log data). This gets charged to 60% max as well but it gets slaughtered with Genshin Impact.
Phone gets warmer than I’d like and definitely takes a battery hit. Performance was better on my 13 pro max. Battery life as a whole is good. I mean it’s an iPhone. iPhones have good battery life. The max models have great battery life. But the pro is just meh. Speakers are great. Probably the best on a candy bar phone iOS is just so If your planning on keeping the phone for a few years I’d rather have a USB C port over a lightning port. 14 Pro without a doubt. 120hz display is the big difference. Size difference is negligible IMO, and although USB-c is a good improvement, lightning does not hamper usual usage. I’m thinking of taking the Apple + T-Mobile deal to upgrade my 12 Pro Max to the 13 Pro Max. Apple Tradein value for 12 Pro Max = $650. T-Mobile gives me $200 as 24 months credit. My net cost is $250 to upgrade from 128gb to 128gb. My 12 Pro Max’s battery health is at 96% after 1 year of use.It only took a few days to get used to it though. The foot print of the phone is about the same but you have more real estate on the screen to work with since it’s edge to edge, which you didn’t have on the 7. Battery life is WAY better, but that should be expected with that many versions since your last phone. 3.
Only had my 15 Pro for a few days, but noticed the battery life being less than impressive. It’s not bad, just not as I expected. When I got my iPhone 11, nearly four years ago, which replaced an 8, I remember being blown away that I could legitimately get two days out of the battery.
The interface and transitions feel smoother and faster, probably due to the 6GB ram and faster refresh rate. Also, the screen is also bigger than the ten, therefore it's good for media consumption. The dynamic island is a multitasker's dream. Went from a standard iPhone 12 to a 14 Pro.
The iPhone 15 Pro stays cool to the touch for the most part, even when playing games. It can heat up when charging at random times, but it's not a consistent issue. Battery life is about on par with the iPhone 14 Pro Max battery life, and there doesn't seem to be much of an improvement. With the iPhone 15 Pro models, Apple added an Action2. jefftheaggie69. • 2 mo. ago. Own both phones and it’s not THAT major of a difference. While the 15 Pro’s camera has more detail from a distance and shots of objects due to the higher megapixel count, the 13 Pro’s camera is still very clean in quality due to them maxing out the focal length on all 12mp cameras. 2.
