It's on 141,000 miles and had its timing belt replaced about a year ago. Full service with oil change was around April. Engine's oil level is normal and there's no leaks around the engine. One thing: the temperature gauge only seems to heat up to about 25% on the gauge, and it fluctuates now and again.
I'm on my second Mk2.5 (the Mk2.5 was made from 2008 to 2011) 1.6Tdci and my driving pattern (75% motorway, 25% urban) results in a yearly average of 62mpg. To put that into perspective due to rush-hour traffic volumes my motorway speeds are a maximum of about 60-65mph and the urban parts 30mph or less. The weekly (specifically last week) high
Oil change with Castrol magnetec and genuine ford filter each 15k miles (which I know is above the recommended 12.5k). Fuel injector nuts done up tighter when seals leaking - but seals not replaced. Runs a bit rough on start up when cold- suspect glow plug(s) . Last time I did the oil change I stripped the sump thread.

The 1.6 TDCi diesel engine's belt should be replaced at least every 180,000 kilometres or 10 years, whichever comes first. Apparently, for cars built up to July 2011, the interval is 140,000km or 10 years. And yes, it's advisable to change the water pump at the same time.
